I recall hearing a saying when I was a young entrepreneur.
It was attributed to so many people that I don’t recall who “really” said it…nonetheless it’s proven to be true.
You are the sum of the 5 people you surround yourself with.
It was also a great marketing tool to get young entrepreneurs, like myself, to join coaching programs and masterminds.
However, beyond the entrepreneurial thing, it holds true in life.
If you surround yourself with people who are not supportive of who you are and where you want to go in life, you will find yourself sinking to their level…just to belong.
The answer…surround yourself with people who WANT you to be better.
I know, of course, that this is easier said than done.
But once you choose this path and experience a supportive environment, you’ll never go back.
