I instantly recalled this line from the movie, The Shawshank Redemption.
I was so surprised that Stephen King had written it, because it wasn’t from the horror genre, though there were some horrific moments in the movie.
However, the movie inspired “hope” and it was so uplifting.
I shared it with my family when we were home for our Mother’s funeral. Yeah, it was that powerful.
This line, however, is a great reminder, that in either case…you need to keep moving in your life.
Hopefully, toward a joy of living.
If not, the message is that you’re focused on giving up on the life you could have.
Let this be a reminder to “get busy” on the things that matter.
