What choices tell you

Have you ever observed someone struggle with opening those plastic bags in the produce section of the grocery store?

Yeah, I’ve stood there talking to the bag, hoping no one was watching me struggle.

I’d mutter to myself about how stupid this is, and how come someone hasn’t figured out a way to make one side longer to easily separate the bag, and on and on…

Prior to the pandemic, you would see people lick their fingers (which, now in retrospect…eww) and separate the bag.

You don’t see that anymore…however here’s what I observed one day…

A gentleman pulled down a bag, tried to pull it apart and reached over, rub his hand on a bundle of leeks and used the moisture to open the bag and put in his potatoes. Then he walked away.

Ok…eww

Now, would I say that this choice was reflective of his character or just a convenient way to get the job done?

I won’t say… I’ll leave that to you.

Your choices, my friend, can certainly reflect your character.
