Conversations: Done with it

Well Chris,

I wish I could change things and make it better but I always fail. I need to understand what should I do to be better, to get out of this hell.

I lack self esteem, I am so nervous, so angry and so sad. I wish I can change my life and have been trying really hard, but at the end I get nothing.

Signed,

Done with it

My heart goes out to you, Done with it.

It can’t feel good to try and try and not see a result at the end of it.

If I may…

Part of the challenge, when we’re in a place of trying to change things or trying to change life, etc. is that it’s WAY to big to take on, all at once.

So we have to take it in stages or a piece at a time.

This way, we can set a realistic goal, take steps toward it and finally see a result that we can celebrate.

You, my friend, are in a much better place than you think. Your willingness to reach out and ask the question, demonstrates a WIN, just in this action alone.

Those who are truly “done with it” wouldn’t make the effort to ask for advice or suggestions.

I want you to start to identify areas that you want to take on, that mean something special to you…and you alone. Here’s what I mean…

  • Do you want to find a new job or figure out how to make your current job more appealing?
  • Do you want to improve your health, finances, or well-being?
  • Do you want to find new, uplifting friends, experiences, or activities to make your life more enjoyable?

This is what I mean about taking it in stages.

You wouldn’t want to take on all three areas at once. Choose one that speaks to you most and begin there.

And please don’t jump to the next one, without taking the time to marinate in your success and celebrate who you’ve become as a result.

This will be KEY to success in the next stage.

You’re so worthy of what you seek, Done with it, so give yourself the space and grace to take on the important things in your life and allow the success you’re entitled to, to show up and delight you.

You got this!
