We get cut off in traffic and we get angry at the driver…who perhaps is late for work — for the last time.
Or someone grabs the last loaf of bread off the shelf and bolts to the checkout…who perhaps has hungry children at home.
We can’t know the reasons for everything that happens in life, but we can respond in a more compassionate and empathetic way.
This preserves our sense of humanity and decreases the stress we can most do without.
