Expecting great things

In a sea of amazing and talented basketball players, you can imagine the incredible control one must have of their mind, body and spirit…every. single. day.

Sure, you have coaches and fans telling you how great you are, but at the end of the day when your head hits that pillow, what do you tell yourself?

If you’re like most of us, you zero in on what you missed, what you overlooked, what you could have done better or best.

Yet Sir Jordan offers up an insight that I’m sure he used to achieve the heights he attained…literally and figuratively.

Now how do we use this insight to help at the end of the day, when head meets pillow?

We often forget that we ACTUALLY expect great things of ourselves AND  achieve them, daily.

For example…

How many times have you started the day, or a project or a relationship where you expected to be at your best and actually experienced that result?

Conversely, if you started the day not expecting the best…we know what happens then.

So YES, you actually have the same mindset that led Jordan to his incredible success!
