Do you live or exist?

Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde (16 October 1854 – 30 November 1900) was an Irish poet and playwright. After writing in different forms throughout the 1880s, he became one of the most popular playwrights in London in the early 1890s.  – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Wilde

Oscar Wilde is known for his observations on everyday life from the humorous to the painfully pointed.

One of his greatest works that I’m familiar with, and actually relates to this quote, is “The Picture of Dorian Gray.”

I saw the movie and was fascinated at how the picture of Dorian would age, while he remained youthful.

Dorian truly wanted to live…as did Oscar, as you can tell by the Wiki entry.

Living a life full of promise is what I think we all strive for…short of that we ARE simply existing.

While I wouldn’t suggest we sell our souls to remain youthful, are you willing to “spend” your time creating a life worthy of a portrait?

It’s not too late…
