Conversations: Who am I really?

Let me ask you Chris,

What does identity mean to you and how do you create one that empowers you?

Signed,

Who am I, really?

~~~~~~~~~~
Who am I, really – I feel you.
I can remember as a teenager asking that very question…who am I? Heck, I’ve asked myself in each decade of my life! smile
I think we ask that question our entire life.
When life changes, the environment changes, people in our lives change….all of that and more, can cause us to stand back and say…who am I, really?
I will say this…
Only YOU know who you really are.
And only YOU can empower yourself in who you are.
Here’s what I mean by that.
As I mentioned, change can be a driver in asking that question. But change does not occur for just you. It occurs for everyone.
So someone may think they know who you are, but that’s in the moment. When change occurs for you or them, they may question if they truly KNOW who you are.
It’s not wrong, it’s just that it’s in the now that they are viewing you.
And we know that change occurs in our lives…daily.
But at your core, who am I really, you KNOW who you are.
You are the essence of…(I’ll let you fill in the blank)
Because again, only YOU know who you are.
I’ll give you an example, so that you see where I’m going.
I am the essence of light.
I love helping others see their own brilliance by shining a light on what they’re missing.
Now, I don’t always behave that way, especially when I’m having a bad day. However, I KNOW that I will get back to that place because of who I know that I am. And once there, it FULLY empowers me.
Take some quiet time, who am I really, and fill in that blank.
You are the essence of…
Then, be completely silent and listen to your heart and your soul.
They know the answer and will tell you, if you will but hear them.
Namaste!
The light in me bows to the light in you…
~ Let life love you!
