Finding peace

Since I’m an avid and committed “meditator,” I know the power of peace in life.

I also know that meditating CANNOT be the only way to achieve peace. I couldn’t do it 24/7.

There are some who find peace in some healthy and some not so healthy ways, that may serve as a distraction from experiencing life.

The trick is, to find ways in your life to experience peace.

Consider:

  • Time to read and reflect
  • Self-care time — be that playing a sport, listening to your favorite music, writing in your journal and more
  • Quiet “Think” time – just the opportunity to sit quietly and just “think” can be a powerful and peaceful way of being

So while I enjoy meditation, each of these options are also a part of my life and bring me peace.
