Helen Adams Keller was an American author, disability rights advocate, political activist and lecturer. Born in West Tuscumbia, Alabama, she lost her sight and her hearing after a bout of illness at the age of 19 months. Wikipedia
She was brilliant in turning her “disabilities” into “abilities” that showed the world that nothing can truly stop you from living a full and abundant life.
That’s why this perspective is so powerful…
I’m sure she viewed each day as an adventure given her unique “abilities.”
And without that perspective, would life be worth the effort?
Thank goodness for her gifts to the world…this perspective being one of the best!
