Conversations: Self Improvement Oriented

Hello Chris,

I’ve really been into self growth and want to improve as a person. I’m super into self growth quotes and they do help me occasionally.

My problem is that I am not really sure that I can improve. It’s just this feeling in my gut I get. It makes me want to just give up.

Can you help?

Signed,

So improvement oriented…

Ready to give up?

You know how I know that that ISN’T true?

You’re asking HOW to improve.

Also, if you were ready to give up, you wouldn’t do something that gives you “occasional” help.

Here’s the first thing I’d like to help you do…

GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK!

I can’t tell you how many times you’re going to experience this in your life. You get really excited, motivated and inspired to improve some aspect of your life.

And then life says, “oh yeah?” Try this on for size.

You know why that happens?

Because we want to improve and staying where we are is not how we achieve that.

People who don’t want to improve are not much fun to be around, true?

However, beyond that, life is just not fun when we’re stuck in one place. Be that in a job, a relationship, a living space. When it’s time to move on, it’s time to move on.

Success in any of those areas only comes when we move, groove and grow, That means, we become flexible, resilient and UNWILLING to give up.

Like you…

Now you may want to “pause” the action, and reexamine what gives you the satisfaction of self improvement. That’s all well and good.

It can open you up to a new form of improvement that gives you an exponential lift.

Given your question, improvement oriented, I know a “pause” and reexamination would better suit you than giving up.

Take a pause and see if you can find new self improvement strategies, tools and approaches to add to your life experience.

You are SO worth doing that…
